Don’t Study Long Hours

The longer you study, the less efficient you are

Most students like to push the limits and try to start studying as late as possible and study long hours. Ultimately they are ending up preparing for an exam for a whole day (8-12 hours) in a library or at home. These long hours are in actuality an illusion, because a brain cannot process so much information in such a long time span. In most cases those 8-12 hours melt down to 2-4 hours of efficient learning. (or even less). Think of a sportsman. No one would ever consider to workout full time and expect high level fitness for the next day. The same principle applies to our brain. It’s better to have short, but intense learning session, rather than long and slow ones
