Try this technique, even if you believe you are a non-visual person
I must say, I’m not really a person that likes drawing, but I definitely recommend to try the concept of mind maps. Instead of taking linear notes, you structure your thoughts visually here. Simply start with the main topic in the middle of your paper and then build sub-categories around it. Then continue with further sub-categories moving from the inner circle to the outside. This technique has two benefits:
1. You will remember the study matter a lot better, because you have structured your mind maps AND your thoughts yourself!
2. It’s easier for your brain to memorize images rather than words. Just think of the proverb saying, that a picture is worth a thousand words.
